Art of Mentoring is more than a mentoring software provider. We bring together organisational psychologists, mentoring practitioners, HR leaders and technology specialists to design and deliver evidence-based mentoring programs that create measurable impact.
The experts who make
mentoring work
Meet the Team

We are moving beyond the era of mentoring as a "nice-to-have". My vision is to empower organizations with the technology and data they need to turn human connection into a strategic engine for retention, leadership, and growth.
Angus Washington
Chief Executive Officer
Angus leads Art of Mentoring with a clear commercial reality in mind: talent is an organization’s most valuable, and volatile, asset. With over twenty years of global leadership experience across Australia and Asia, he brings a sophisticated understanding of how high-performing teams are built and sustained.
Before taking the helm, Angus founded and successfully exited two recruitment firms in Hong Kong and held senior roles with global giants like Michael Page. He understands the “talent lifecycle” from every angle. Today, he combines that commercial rigour with a people-centric philosophy, guiding the Art of Mentoring team to deliver scalable, secure, and impactful solutions for enterprise clients.

The transformative moments in my life were shaped by exceptional mentors who invested in my growth. My goal is to pay that forward, ensuring our clients have the framework and support to create those same life-changing connections for their own people.
Craig McKenzie
Head of Client Success
As Head of Client Success, Craig bridges the gap between complex strategy and day-to-day execution. What makes Craig unique is his direct operational experience: before joining the team, he managed the extensive AHRI mentoring program himself.
He understands exactly what keeps program managers up at night because he has sat in their chair. Today, he uses that deep, first-hand knowledge to lead the Art of Mentoring success team, ensuring that every organization we partner with receives not just software support, but expert guidance on building a scalable culture of mentorship.

Mentoring isn't just a "nice to have", it is a critical driver of organizational performance. My mission is to help leaders see the direct link between investing in human connection and achieving sustainable, long-term business growth.
Bijay Alex Mathew
Chief Revenue Officer
Bijay approaches revenue not just as a numbers game, but as a science of sustainable growth. With over two decades of leadership in high-growth SaaS environments, he specializes in building the operational architecture that allows organizations to scale their impact effectively.
Holding dual degrees in Economics and Political Science and an MBA, Bijay brings a rigorous analytical perspective to the Art of Mentoring leadership team. He operates at the intersection of data-driven strategy and human engagement, ensuring that our commercial processes are as reliable and impactful as the software we deliver. He is dedicated to helping enterprise clients turn complex talent challenges into repeatable, high-performing success stories.

It is a privilege to contribute to the growth of our program participants. For me, the highlight of this role is seeing the feedback, knowing that we helped a client create a program that not only hits their organizational goals but genuinely changes the lives of their people.
Danita Needleman
Client Success Manager
With over a decade on the Art of Mentoring team and 25 years of mentoring involvement, Danita brings a rare depth of institutional knowledge to her clients. She doesn’t just manage accounts; she draws on a quarter-century of experience to guide them toward success.
Danita holds a BSc (Hons) in Psychology and has executive experience across diverse industries—from advertising to recruitment. This unique combination allows her to understand the human side of mentoring while applying the business rigour of a former General Manager. She uses this expertise to help clients build programs that are psychologically sound and operationally seamless.

For me, mentoring is where personal growth meets organizational impact. It’s incredible to witness someone build their confidence and use it to drive real change, leading better conversations and moving their entire team forward.
Georgia Ridgewell
Account Manager
Georgia brings a distinct psychological perspective to account management. With a background in psychology and deep experience in mentor-mentee dynamics, she understands that successful programs are built on genuine human connection, not just administrative process.
As a strategic partner, Georgia works closely with clients to align their mentoring initiatives with broader business goals. She is known for her collaborative approach, helping organizations create supportive environments where employee well-being and productivity grow side by side.

I view mentoring through both a human and an economic lens. My background in data tells me one clear truth: investing in people is the single most effective lever for driving organizational resilience and performance.
Rebecca Morrisby
Client Success Manager
Rebecca stands at the intersection of data and human potential. With a background in Economics, HR technology, and Psychometrics, she brings a rigorous, analytical approach to the art of client success. She doesn’t just manage programs; she helps clients measure them.
Specializing in enterprise-level SaaS solutions, Rebecca partners with government, corporate, and non-profit clients to translate “soft skills” into hard results. She uses her expertise in workplace psychological assessment to design programs that are not only culturally impactful but strategically scalable, ensuring her clients see a clear return on their investment in people.

A successful mentoring program requires more than just great software; it requires a great human experience. I focus on the details of the user journey to ensure every participant feels guided, confident, and ready to grow.
Maria Familara
Program Success Manager
Maria acts as the navigator for our program participants. With a diverse background spanning education, recruitment, and enrollment management, she specializes in the critical “human side” of program administration.
She understands that for a program to scale, the onboarding process must be seamless. Maria leverages her experience as a former teacher and enrollment specialist to remove friction for users, ensuring that every mentor and mentee starts their journey with clarity and confidence. She doesn’t just resolve tickets; she builds pathways for engagement.
