As a large, state-wide regulatory organisation, the NSW Natural Resources Access Regulator (NRAR) recognised the need to invest in its people from within. With teams spread across the state, building meaningful professional connections and providing consistent leadership development support was a genuine challenge.

Without a structured internal mentoring pathway, employees had limited access to the guidance, networks and career development opportunities that more senior colleagues could offer.
