Women make up a small proportion of Australia’s construction workforce. The Women Building Australia National Mentoring Program was established to change that, providing female newcomers to the industry with access to support, encouragement and guidance from experienced professionals.

Funded by the Australian Federal Government’s Office for Women and led by Master Builders’ Australia, the program was designed and delivered by Art of Mentoring, connecting 300 mentoring pairs across a three-year period.
